Champaign County Health Care Consumers director Claudia Lenhoff speaks to about 20 people at the Illini Union on Tuesday. CCHCC is leading a campaign to convince the U of I at Urbana to provide insurance coverage for contraceptives. Not providing them is gender-based discrimination, since they are needed to treat medical conditions, Lenhoff said. The campaign is supported on campus by AFSCME Local 3700 (clericals), SEIU Local 73 Chap. 119, the Association of Academic Professionals-IEA/NEA, and the Graduate Employees' Organization-IFT/AFT. |

Those dedicated to the preservation of the America of our Forefathers can expect shortly to feel the brunt of a new federal assault upon liberty. It is clear, therefore, that it is time to rethink traditional strategy and tactics when it comes to opposing state tyranny, where the rights now accepted by most as being inalienable will disappear. Let the coming night be filled with a thousand points of resistance.
