Never mind that the liberals dream of using the power of the creditors' cartel for noble purposes. They would do well to consider Tolkien's Lord of the Rings: like the One Ring that served as his metaphor for the forces of evil, and weapons of mass destruction, this cartel is inherently bad. |

You see them constantly hawking war on TV these days, whether they are politicians, journalists, or "experts", ready to kill thousands in other nations, while sending young, working class Americans off to fight for corporate America. Yet, they all seem to have made sure that they were never in the line of fire when they had the opportunity. Is it that a future Talking Head is too valuable to risk in battle or is it that they are more than happy to work the levers of the Killing Machine, as long as they don't risk a scratch? |
