I wrote this commentary first thing this morning on my weblog to blow off steam. I'm still pissed, so I'll share.

I will note that this rant is primarily aimed at the National Democratic regime, rather than our local Dems, who actually fared pretty well (aside from their sacrificial lamb to the U.S. House) -- especially increasing their majority in the County Board.

But we have to ask how these local wins stack up against a National Government busy squashing our civil liberties and waging war across the globe.
