To: To all city halls, legislators, aldermans, etc., concerning this issue
This is a petition on behalf of all promoters, DJ's, and party goers.
This petition is to help stop the "Anti-Rave" law that was passed in Chicago
and other major cities. In simple terms, the law states that there can be no party
that holds 100 or more people at it with a DJ. If you are caught, you as a DJ,
property owner, or promoter can be fined up to $10,000 and/or possible jail time. |

CIA Role in Expanding US Role in Colombia |

The CIA has a long history of involvement in gun- and drug-smuggling in cooperation with willing players in security agencies that it has helped fund and advise in Latin America. The fall from grace of Vladimiro Montesinos, the director of Peru's version of the CIA (known as SIN), percipatated the fall from power of Presidente Alberto Fujirori late last year. They had jointly ruled Peru with an iron fist and the blessing of the CIA.

***Bylaw Changes Threaten Existence of Pacifica***
The Pacifica National Board may consider at its meeting on March 3rd in Houston changes in the national by-laws
that would allow a small subcommittee to sell stations without consulting with the full board, and would grant the Board members $50,000 per year. Special provisions would allow Board members and other "interested parties" to profit from the sale of the stations. |
