Reports are coming out that Arab-Americans and Muslim Americans are being threatened by people angry about yesterday's terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

On the evening following World Trade Center attacks, a local Muslim congregation opens its doors to non-Muslim neighbors and braces itself for what's to come.

Kissinger is part of the problem. Acting against his terrorism would be part of the solution. The press once again fails to ask the hard questions that would lead to the truth.
We urge Congress and George Bush that whatever response or policy the U.S. develops it will be clear that this nation will no longer target civilians, or accept any policy by any nation which targets civilians.
The Democracy Now! staff is a quarter mile from ground zero at our studio in exile in southern Manhattan. The area is locked down so we are staying overnight in our studios. Outside, police, marines, and national guard patrol the area, as they begin the search and rescue mission 6 blocks below us at what used to be the World Trade Center towers.
