News Missing from the News-Gazette Dept. - Left unmentioned this week by the N-G was the following story of a brush-off by Bush of a question at his Monday news conference about why he did not address the NAACP national convention. The N-G's failure to inform the public of this incident is reminescent of exactly the attitude toward the concerns of African-Americans that Bush used at the news conference. ML |
