This dialogue between the infamous (yet hardly known) Dr. Szasz and his critics allows him to once again articulate the argument he has presented so brilliantly and passionately for over four decades. . . . A profession that fails to learn from and respect those who confront it with controversial and discomforting ideas loses strength and vibrancy. Hopefully, at least some younger psychiatrists will be encouraged to read this book. They will find that their intellectual and professional lives will be enriched.

IDF will present the film "Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry" a documentary by George Butler as a response to WICD's biased decision to show segments of the "Stolen Honor" documentary. The film will be shown at the IDF on Tuesday, October 26 at 7pm.
The event is intended to provide citizens of CU with a balance to the viewpoint being presented by WICD, and to educate the community about the inaccuracies and falsehoods about the veterans' anti-war movement during the Vietnam war that are presented in "Stolen Honor."
THIS EVENT IS NOT IN ANY WAY AN ENDORSEMENT OF JOHN KERRY OR ANY OTHER CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT. |

1/4 of the globe is polarized over Palestine/Israel. You and yours are not so speciall that you get to spam other IMCs with your conflicts on this issue
Stick to writing a "news" story on how the Mideast conflict is affecting the independent press or IMCs, or the whole "left", without the stupid and lazy personal attacks, that are irrelevant and a gigantic waste of time, for the rest of us volunteering our time. |
