We are heartened by the large volume of positive responses to the announcement issued by the A.N.S.W.E.R. steering committee (February 27) that the coalition was shifting the date of its demonstration to Saturday, April 20. The change to April 20 was in turn a response to a large number of requests asking for a united date for anti-war forces to converge this spring in Washington DC. The A.N.S.W.E.R. coalition has been and continues to be in communication with other groups organizing on the weekend of April 19-22 for a variety of activities. |

No more 'Just Say No' campaigns ... instead, harm reduction, rehabilitation and information will be the policy
Although this story is from overseas, it has resonance in a community such as ours, where is is impossible to have a reasonable discussion on the benefits of methadone and other harm reduction strategies. It even sounds like they are talking about papers such as the News-Gazette when the press is referred to in the article. |

Our banishment from the Holy Land will end miraculously at a time when all mankind will unite in the brotherly service of the Creator. In addition to condemning the central heresy of Zionism, we also reject its policy of aggression against all peoples. Today this cruelty manifests itself primarily in the brutal treatment of the Palestinian people. We proclaim that this inhuman policy is in violation of the Torah. |
