Mission NOT Accomplished: Bush Team Saving Difficult Part of Iraq War Until After the Election
Current rating: 0
13 Sep 2004
If war is the policy in Iraq, then the most difficult and most costly part of the fighting still lies ahead. Despite the now much-regretted sloganeering by Bush that he reached "Mission Accomplished" more than a year ago, the Bush team looks to be saving the worst for last if the objective is to bring all parts of the country under the control of Iraq's puppet government. This is a far different picture than the US public is getting from the Administration, its political supporters, the recent celebratory Republican National Convention, and most of the US media.

And John Kerry is doing little to distinguish his policy as being any different than Bush's.

Framing the Debate: It's All GOP
Current rating: 0
12 Sep 2004
Democrats need to play offense, not defense, and Kerry needs to frame himself. Two words -- strong progressive -- would work well. He needs to frame Bush as weak, and as weakening the country. He needs 10 words that say what he stands for: a Strong America, Mutual Responsibility, Broad Prosperity, a Better Future, and Valuing Families.

Terrorism Began at Deir Yassin

We are constantly reminded by our elected officials (and those who steal their elections) and the pro-Israel filtered media, of the acts of revenge that Palestinian and Muslim groups have committed against the people of Israel, however, we are almost never told about the brutal and inhumane acts of state terrorism that the government of Israel has been inflicting against the people of Palestine, ever since its inception.

CARTOON AND POEM
Current rating: 0
11 Sep 2004
Modified: 01:28:18 PM
Currently not only Independent R. Nader is trying to ruin the chance of the victory for Democratic ticket in November and stack the country with Bush and his invasive wars for at least four years more, but also Clinton's affiliates such as Rev. Jessy Jackson, conveniently forgiving that Kerry WAS NOMINATED BY HIS PARTY, are also trying to promote racial hatred, accusing Kerry in not sufficient connections with Black minority. These fights between different types of 'have not' were essentially promoted in Clinton's time, and unfortunately are still strong now. So, below is my poem from my set 'Alice in The Country Behind The Looking Glass' and the cartoon-illustration for this poem.

Those readers, who are interested in my literary and art creations are welcome to visit my web site http://www.moscowtochicago.com.
