Local band The Violents lent their sound to a Girlzone sound training session today at the IMC. IMC sound person Amy trained Girlzone intern Jane today and now Champaign-Urbana has one more rockin' sound engineer. (article 1) |

Ahmed Bensouda arrived home briefly today in chains accompanied by two INS officers...an international student and Palestine solidarity activist, he continues to be detained without charges and a deportation is threatened. |
