Every year, Milwaukee plays host to the International Mink
Convention. Fur farmers from around the world converge on Milwaukee to trade information, learn new fur farming techniques and buy/sell fur. We need to show these people that fur is a dying industry and that their cruelty to animals will not go unnoticed by caring, compassionate people.

I was curious about this company that appears to have chosen the next President for America's voters. Its board dazzles with big Republican funders. Florida is the only state to hire an outside firm to suggest who should lose citizenship rights. That may change. Too bad. Critically acclaimed movies -- like Traffic and The Contender -- offer some alternative perspectives on politics and public policy, but those efforts rarely have much impact on the popcorn eaters. |

Green Party supports David Johnson in Free Speech Struggle |

The Green Party recently passed this resolution in support of David Johnson. Mr. Johnson supported Ralph Nader during the presidential elections even though the AFL/CIO with which he is affiliated endorsed Al Gore. |
