Writing Collective: How To Write A News Story
I found this great primer on writing a news story on Chicago IMC, in their Info Doc collection. We should consider adding it to our Info Docs, also, as it is quite useful.
Indymedia lets you be the media. Read this, then think of the news you could write and post here. Everyone has something to contribute and UC IMC is a resource that is available 24/7 (more or less ;>) for you to publish your news to our community and the world. ML |

The Daily Illini has in the past two weeks published four letters denying the Armenian genocide during World War I, which were in response to a news story covering the 90th anniversary of the genocide. They have also published three letters in protest of this denial. To place this denial in further context, I am posting an article by Howard Zinn and an excerpt from an article by Ward Churchill, as well as all of the materials from the DI.
