The Central Illinois English Country Dancers will be holding their tenth annual Playford Ball from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2005, in the ballroom of the Illini Student Union, 1401 W. Green, Urbana, IL. |
The Central Illinois English Country Dancers will be holding their tenth annual Playford Ball on Saturday, June 4, 2005. The dance will be held in the ballroom of the Illini Student Union, 1401 W. Green, Urbana, IL, on the campus of the university of Illinois. There will be a warm up session from 7:00 to 8:00, followed by the Ball from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Fans and finery are encouraged and we will be holding a costume contest to choose a King and Queen of the Ball. There will be a $7.00 suggested donation to help cover the cost of the Ball. We ask that dancers wear soft soled shoes to help protect the dance floor and avoid using excessive amounts of perfume for the benefit of others who may experience allergic reactions. All dances will be taught and all lovers of English Country dance and music are welcome.
