Local comic creators Damian Duffy and Dann Tincher will be appearing at G-Mart Comic Books from 1-5pm to discuss sequential art, autograph copies of their serialized graphic novel in progress Whisp, and give away free comics.

After the signing, the artists will host a comics chat at a nearby restaurant. The chat will be open to the public, and Duffy and Tincher plan to be raffling off several items, including a free beer (to a reader 21 or over.)

Three national transgender or gender-diverse civil rights organizations lobbied Capitol Hill simultaneously and, for the first time, all lobbied for the same issues. In addition, yet another rejuvenated national group conducted its first organized protest in years, and still another organization conducted a march to the Viet Nam Veterans’ Memorial, and conducted a historic wreath laying ceremony.
