The immigrants of Chicago are leaders throughout the nation, they were the first in going en masse (half million on March 10 and May) and the only city where all the IFCO workers were released without bail. These raids are a form of punishment for everyone who marched for legalization. Currently, some IFCO workers are on hunger strike to protest deportation of workers, and there will be daily marches in Chicago. |

Today every person, who is harmful for American interests, is a terrorist, in the eyes of America. And if the same person is active in terror activities in Russia, China, Japan, Germany or India or like that in other countries, he isn’t a terrorist for the Bush administration. There seems to be no need of keeping such persons in prisons run under the control of American army. At last is not it an effort of America to become a worldwide jailer under the cover of self declared ‘War against Terrorism’? |
