Hidden by ml with code: Policy Violation Notes: OFF-TOPIC...besides, if it's a "goofy website" that isn't worth the trouble to drive to a meeting about to you, why are you so obsessed with it? Because you're a troll (I assume, based on the facts you present.) |

Hidden by ml with code: Policy Violation Notes: OFF-TOPIC...We are in the process of revising our editorial policy at this time. The Steering group has approved the interim policy the UC IMC editorial team is implementing. Besides, you (and your "buddies") never complained when we took a very lax approach to enforcement of the previous policy, nor did you make any real effort to stay within it. No one took advantage of our offer of F2F discussion on this subject either. Besides, if you are inclined to ignore our suggestions of how to stay within our previous policy, it is highly unlikely that you would respond appropriately to an email either. In any case, you have notice, as your comments acknowledge, of what our current policy is. Your continued posting of complaints about our editorial policy to a thread about "Fahrenheit 9/11" is symptomatic of the overall problem of the right-wing troll phenomenon.

Hidden by ml with code: Policy Violation Notes: OFF-TOPIC...You missed the point about the strawman argument. It does not say anything in our mission statement about your purported claim that "free speech" is something that we are bound by or have claimed to represent. In fact, the mission stement shows a clear preference for opinions that are under-represented in the dominant media. Your campaign to impose the same standards as used in the dominant media, such as Faux News, on this site is simply another way that the dominant media seeks to drown out dissenting opinions. BTW, if you want to see censorship at work, visit FreeRepublic, where even conservative voices that disagree with the owners of the site are routinely _deleted_ (not simply hidden). I suggest you take your "free speech" campaign there and see how far it gets you. |

Hidden by ml with code: Policy Violation Notes: OFF-TOPIC...There is no need to trot out the same strawman argument about "free speech" over and over again. Please read the Mission Statement, linked to from the mainpage under "Info": http://www.ucimc.org/mod/info/display/mission/index.php
