Audio from Democracy Now host Amy Goodman's visit to Champaign-Urbana last Friday, April 23, is now on-line in mp3 and ogg vorbis. |
Ms. Goodman was interviewed on WEFT's mediageek radio program, where she talked about getting her start in journalism, and why she chose to write her book, The Exception to the Rulers: Exposing Oily Politicians, War Profiteers and the Media that Love Them.

Just after her WEFT appearance Ms. Goodman gave a 50-minute talk to packed-house benefit for WEFT, where she discussed some of her experiences in doing challenging independent journalism, and related some of the stories and facts her radio program has uncovered.
