The following is a letter to my father that I sent on the eve of Congress giving President Bush the authority to attack Iraq when he deems fit for as long as he deems appropriate for whatever reasons he can come up with. |

Partners For Peace: Healing Into Action, a recently formed partnership between Dove, Inc. and the YWCA of Decatur, is announcing two training opportunities for fall.
"Color of Fear", a video series will be held Saturday, November 2, and "Walking Each Other Home" video series will be held on Sunday, November 3, The Saturday presentation will take place from 10:00 AM to Noon and the Sunday presentation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Both video viewings will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 204 W. Prairie Avenue. There is no fee for either workshop but registration is required by October 25th.

The YWCA and Dove, Inc. began this partnership in August of 2002 as a wy to collaborate efforts and to create a clearing-house of diversity training opportunities for central Illinois. Additional diversity training is available with Study Circles and the National Coalition Building Institue of Central Illinois. |

Over two hundred students and workers rallied on the Quad at the University of Illinois on Monday to mark the one year anniversary of the attack on Afghanistan and to protest the planned escalation of "the war on terrorism" to include Iraq. |
