Further delay in US congressional investigation into September 11 attacks |
by Patrick Martin, WSWS (No verified email address) |
Current rating: 0 07 Mar 2002
|
This announcement [of the appointment of Britt Snider]-roughly equivalent to putting a top aide to Jeffrey Skilling or Kenneth Lay in charge of the Enron investigation-staggered even some of the journalists who have swallowed one lie after another from the White House about the "war on terrorism." One reporter asked whether Snider's appointment didn't set the stage for a "whitewash." |

Once that discovery has been made - and oh how the apostles of violence seek to prevent it - then the way to sanity will start to open. |

Gov. Ryan May Commute Death Sentences |
by Kevin McDermott (No verified email address) |
Current rating: 0 05 Mar 2002
|
Another important story left out of the News-Gazette.
