If You Have Problems Accessing Ohio Valley IMC |

I've had problems getting anything other than the page header to load at Ohio Valley IMC in order to cover the events there this weekend in protest of the killings of black men by Cincinnati police. |
I posted a message at the global IMC at the URL below. There are a variety of answers there. Some may have no problems with accessing OVIMC. Others may have the same problem as I. There were a variety of opinions on what the problem is. I think it is a HTML coding error myself, as someone mentioned. Others suggested that I needed to wipe my disk and reload all my software, which I STRONGLY suggest is NOT the problem, as this has only happened since yesterday and I have made no changes on my system that could account for the problem.
If you would like to view what's happening in Cincinnati, check the global IMC site if you're having problems with OVIMC. Let's hope they get it fixed. |

It looks like the Ohio Valley Indymedia webmaster fixed the problem. Try accessing the site now:

Broken html tables (english)

The problem with http://ohiovalleyimc.org/ is in the html. There are 25 tables, but only 24 closing entries /table.
Netscape 4.76 under Linux would not display correctly. I saved it to disk and added a /table before the /body and it would display fine.

Sorry 'bout that. Don't worry! There's nothing wrong, save for some people who are (ahem) new to HTML working on the main page. I should have it cleared up momentarily.

Everything should work fine now. Beta 3 is going to solve the problem of IMC volunteers having to edit HTML directly.
Oh, by the way, if anything were missing, I'd be the first to know about it. I suspect yours was one of the posts with no title. The perl script that runs this thing just creates a link out of the title of the article. Therefore, when no title is given, there's no text for the link. (Yet another fix to put on my to-do list)
