Is anyone interested in attending this? Spfld is my old stomping grounds, and I'm thinking about going.

For any who have taken interest and tried to email, the contact address given above, illinoisansforpeace (at) yahoo.com, has been shut down by yahoo and is, in effect, no longer the appropriate address to use. Rather, we are using saclark (at) siue.edu -- sorry for the inconvenience.

Is the march and rally still on for saturday? I really want to attend and wanted to bring as many friends as possible but I am unsure if it is still planned for the Springfield area. If not I will probably go to St. Louis. Thanks, Michelle

Michelle,
Try contacting Devin at the corrected e-mail address he mentioned. Since the Springfield people posted this and have updated it since, keep a watch on this article for further updates.

It's possible the weather could be a factor. But the AWARE people here in C-U have been going out no matter what the weather, so I would expect it would have to be really bad before anything gets actually cancelled.

Everyone should use caution if they do have to travel a distance, though. We don't want to lose anyone or have them hurt at this crucial time.
