There have been many incidents of Asian women being attacked violently, robbed and sexually assaulted on our campus since July of this year, with the most recent occurring in the last week. COME TAKE A STAND WITH THE UIUC COMMUNITY on FRIDAY, NOV 8 against violence towards women.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO STOP IT????
There have been many incidents of Asian women being attacked violently, robbed and sexually assaulted on our campus since July of this year, with the most recent occurring in the last week.
These incidents are creating an increasingly hostile environment within our own community. It's a problem that impacts us all regardless of background because our fellow students' safety is threatened - it may be you or someone you know who is being targeted for violent hate crimes.

I am there with you in spirit, I am from Richmond VA and we have had a lot of sexual harrassment at Food Not Bombs lately, so I stand in solidarity with you all and hope that this can be stopped. Just because we are women does not mean we are weak!!!! |
