how can you condone killing defenseless peace loving plants!! How would you like to have your limbs ripped from your body by some foraging animal? Or to be eaten while you are still alive in some salad? I don’t think you would appreciate it at all!! So just stop it plants have feelings too. People need to find a way to eat non-living things like sand or rocks because all living things deserve to live. |

vegetables are naturally designed to be removed from the plant. it's one of the methods that plants use in order to spread seeds. i doubt the plant is in anguish about doing what its genetics are instructing it to do. |

Well miss veggie your argument is just a copout you could say the same thing about cows milk (yuk!) Plants are in anguish when they get cut down! Would you like to be chewed up and swallowed? Face it plants are tortured in a methodical cruel way plated in pots with no room for their roots to spread cut and pruned in to twisted shapes grafted with the limbs of other creatures it is outrageous! Plants should be left to live a natural life. |
