RECLAIM THE STREEEEETS WEBSITE SHUT DOWN. Could this be cointelpro? Also, details and directions for the partaaay! |
THE RECLAIM THE STREETS WEBSITE IS DOWN. For those of you that do not know, there will be a reclaim the streets party tomorrow in the chicago area. For details check out the story on chicago indymedia - http://www.chicago.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=11672&group=webcast
This is a very "conveninent" time for the website to go down. It is more than likely that it has been hacked into by the FBI or other goons and/or shut down via cointelpro. This is just a theory - but a very likely one. However! the party will go on even though some people wont' get the info via website - it will get to them via decentralised networking - for this i rely on you people to call everyone you know and tell them that reclaim the streets is this saturday at 7pm across the street from naperville central high school in aurora. DIRECTIONS!!! - It is in the West suburbs of Chicago so you take 94 to 290 there - then, take 355 south (it'll say northwest suburbs) to ogden, go west (right) on ogden, and left on washington. Its going to be awesome! see you on the streets in naperville after the dyke march in chicago! |

Websites go down frequently, especially when they're hosted on small ISP's or run out of small organizations. Web servers and internet connections are unreliable and are also sometimes taken down temporarily for maintenance reasons. The most likely scenario is that this is such an outage. Reports of outages ought to just say that there is an outage rather than say that the site was "shut down" and list the usual suspects as likely perpetrators, unless there is some actual information that someone deliberately shut the site down. Sure, this story says "this is just a theory", but the headline doesn't. |
