Unless you have proof that Officer sexually molested the arrestee, you're in deep doo-doo.

Obviously, "Stupid Hippies," you have a really tremendous grip on the law.
Perhaps you or sometone else would be so generous as to cite both the laws and the precedent of legal decisions that might be operative if the officer in the above picture wanted to pursue legal recourse?
OK, maybe that's too hard. How about defining "slander?"
And, "FRANK," please tell us how this is news? While the arrests in SF, especially the arrest of the 11 year-old girl, were abhorent, your post does nothing to add to our understanding. No, instead what you've written is more like what you'd overhear from a group of 10 year-old boys laughing over pictures in the newspaper. And since you haven't yet mastered the use of the Shift key, articles or spelling, it's probably not a bad assumption to think that you are a 10 year-old boy. |

I don't know what "Stupid Hippies" is smoking tonight, but I don't see any of the hippies he claims are involved in this.
I do see a citizen attempting to exercise her rights appearing to be abusively arrested.
"FRANK" has the opinion that this involves sexual assault, but he's probably wrong as Roxy notes. My own opinion is that this is clearly an abusive arrest (but not sexually abusive) and that it is the cop involved above who will probably have legal concerns, given what I have read about the incident so far. But that is just my opinion.
In any case, "Stupid Hippies", read the discalimer at the top of the page.
(I'll wait a moment for you to do this, as I realize that you are a bit dim-witted.)
This post is "FRANK's" comment on what he sees depicted in the photograph. Wrong as it may be, he is entitled to his opinion. He certainly is the responsible individual for his comments.
We don't keep logs here, so we don't know who "FRANK" is. A pretty good guess, given the trolling behavior recently observed in these parts, is that "FRANK" is actually "Stupid Hippies" himself. It wouldn't be the first time.
The above certainly isn't slander, which is a spoken offense. Nothing was said here.
Rather, it was written. But it isn't libel either, since the "gentleman" involved is not identifiable, so there appears to be no offended party, as far as can be determined.
So crawl back into your hole, "Stupid Hippies", and try to comprehend the fact that the rest of the world does not share your concerns or your fixation with ratting on people who have done nothing.
And, BTW, I don't think you're ten years old. But I do think you act like it. |

And im not a troll ether just a concerned person that went to the anti-war protest at the golden gate bridge near crissy field and took this picture with my fuji finepix 6900z at the top of the hill just 100yds away from the bridge so I guess that makes me a witness to the crimes of that fascist child molester CHP pig,
..and what I saw was that pig grabing the genitals of the 11 yr old little kid....but who do you call? the cops!!!ha.. |

On the assumption that you are not "Stupid Hippies" I hope you reflect some on the fact that the caption you've attached to this powerful picture has detracted from the effectiveness of the story you are trying to convey. The focus in citizen journalism should be on the message, not on the messenger. Now people are arguing about the very unclear appropriateness of the caption, rather than the clear abuse of the rights of those involved depicted in the photo. Your photography is great, speaks for itself, and you should rely on those skills to tell the story.
While you are welcome to your opinion (a fact that I defended above), it almost seems as if you've never seen anyone arrested before. Unless the cop's hand lingered on the girl's genital area, what occurred is pretty standard. I would certainly question the appropriatness of the behavior of the cops and ask why there were no female cops available to pat her down. But without a series of photos showing what you allege or other corroborating eyewitness info, it is hard to say that your brief and impassioned claim of sexual abuse will be believed by others, even those sympathetic to the cause. |
