Does a process exist whereby we, the people, can demand the start of the impeachment process? If not, can we gather signatures and vote Bush out of a political position he did not rightly win? |
This is a serious, all-be-it, naive inquiry.
Does there exist a process, by which, we the people, can demand a "re-call" of our current wanna- be -president elect?
Who has the power to start the impeachment process and how do we put pressure on these individuals to initiate such an action?
If, as American citizens, we cannot initiate this process, is there an alternative? Can we gather signatures to have him REMOVED from office? (In essence, vote him out?)
I truly believe it is time to take action and make our voices heard in a way that cannot be silenced with pepper spray. Perhaps this is one viable route? |

When I started reading this, It didn't sound like a good idea. Given that we've heard so much about how many people are happy with his performance, it wouldn't work. BUT if there was some kind of process that could be started, some forms to fill out, signiatures to collect, whatever, even though there wouldn't be enough support to actually impeach him, I think there would be a large enough movement towards impeaching him, that it couldn't be ignored by the media. Bush supporters are united behind him by patriotic default. Americans need to know that we're not all behind this president and his war(s). Possibly more importantly, it would be nice if people in other countries knew that we're not all behind this war. Maybe the people who (justifiably?) want to blow us to bits might have second thoughts if they knew that a big portion of us are trying to stop this nonsense.
Sadly, even talking about impeachment is probably grounds for the death penalty under bush's patriot act.
Such is the importance of the IMC. We need to get the word out and get people organized against this war. |

I hope to Christ that there is some possible way to force Bush out of office. Ever since he took the title of president the shit has hit the fan. There are too many un-answered questions surrounding 9/11 and his role, whether it be direct or not. I would hope that if there is no "legal" way to impeach Bush that there would be enough support from concerned citizens to remove him from office by any means. There must be a new movement against the corrupt leaders within our government. The founding fathers did not fight and die for what our country has become.Freedoms are being invaded behind our backs. War and economic "crisis" have become means of distraction, used to take our eyes off of the intolerable bahavior of so-called leaders who are commiting unjust acts. Do the research. Bush, his father, and his grandfather have started an evil empire that draws direct coralations to Nazi Germany. Major media, as well as every so called "patriot" of the United States, must acknowledge that we are headed in the opposite direction that our founding fathers had intended. There is enough questionable information on sites such as this that could bring down Bush and his corrupted administration. We need to expose these facts, There must not be a Fourth Reich. I've gone off on a rant, but my main point is that if there is no legal or constitutional way for the people to remove a leader from office, we must find another way. A revolution has been needed for some time now, and I for one am in full support of it, whether it is lawful or not. |
