The "vaticanassassins.org" site is just another hate site, run by someone billing himself as a "White American Freeman". That alone ought to be a clue to what to expect there.
Predictably, it's an anti-Catholic hatefest (I haven't seen the word "popish" as a perjorative in quite some time). What's really amusing is that the writer identifies Freemasonry as part of his "black Pope"'s worldwide conspiracy, apparently ignorant of the fact that it was not until the middle of the twentieth century that the Masons ceased to bar Catholics from membership.
Our Klansman wannabe has apparently realized that the Urbana IMC is actually pretty conscientious about keeping incitements to ethnic and religious hatred off the newswire, so he resorts to posting realtively innocuous attachments along with a link to his Netcesspool.
I'm no particular fan of the Church heirarchy, or of organized monotheism in general, but the kind of scurrilous ethno-religious defamation that's been spreading on the Indymedia network really needs to be defended against. |
