Abbie Hoffman's FBI file declassified! |

Under the US Freedom of Information Act the FBI have just released their files on Abbie Hoffman.

This is actually quite interesting. These are the actual files in PDF format that the FBI kept on 60's radical Abbie Hoffman. There are links to other famous persons' files also, including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (yeah they were really radical!) Thurgood Marshall (involved in the NAACP), ALbert Einstein (communist) and Frank Sinatra. One of the things that stands out prominantly in the files is the painstaking degree with which the FBI went through the files to black out names and information before releasing the information. |
