On Tuesday, December 4 at 8 pm, Philadelphia-based folk performer Adam Brodsky will appear at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center. Recently named the "Best Folk Performer" by the Philadelphia City Paper, Adam has been on tour throughout the East and Midwest this year bringing his fusion of folk and punk traditions to a wide audience. The show starts at 8 pm at the Independent Media Center, 218 West Main Street in Urbana. Cover is a sliding scale donation, with $7 suggested minimum. |

Having worked in the Philly music scene for many years before escaping to the Left Coast, I can testify that Adam is:
A good musician
Topical
Irreverent
Funny as Hell
Really good with an audience
and an all-around great guy who helps other struggling independent artists bring their music out on record.
His show will most likely be well worth seeing, so take it from the Shnoz, go, bring your friends and/or loved ones, and fork over some dough.
You'll be glad you did. |
