I suggest the peeps who voted for Phyllis Clark, of which I was one... let her know that we do expect her to improve the efficiency of the office... and in short order... or the vote will not come her way again.

Oh yeah, and big cograts to Brandon B... who outed himself in the NG and WON the election.

On another note: Not long ago I crossed over to the dark side and voted in a Republican primary to vote against John Piland... so the Rs have my name on their to call list. They called me the day of the election and smeared Clark, wanting me to get out and vote for her opponent. According to my caller id i-- the call came from the News Gazette!

Anon100 -

Since I organized the pollwatchers and phone bank for my campaign, I can assure no phone calls came from The News-Gazette. In fact, no phone calls should have come from outside Urbana. Most came from myself, family, and neighbors.

I agree though, Phyllis had best shape up. No more showing up for work at 10:30 - volunteer work or not. She's on our (taxpayers of Urbana) clock.
