DISCLOSURE AND 9/11
AN ANALYSIS BY
DISCLOSURE PROJECT DIRECTOR STEVEN M. GREER M.D.
As we mourn the tragic loss of precious life on September 11, and as we all pray for justice and peace in the world, let us also rededicate our lives to the task of creating a world in which those atrocious and evil acts can never be repeated. Let us pray for the world and our nation and ask that Providence guide our leaders and protect our soldiers as we unite to create a safe and just world.
Having lived in the Middle East for 3 years, during which time I saw first hand the madness and horror of terrorism, I have no illusions about the scale of the problem we are facing: Those who live in the utmost bigotry, religious fanaticism and evil, bloodthirsty hatred are seldom reached by reason. Those few rabid dogs who threaten the whole of humanity must be restrained, and if necessary put down.
But we must distinguish between short - term remedies, however necessary, and long-term cures. To avert an even graver cataclysm, great care must be taken, and we need to look deeply at the larger causes of the sickness that visited New York and Washington on 9/11.
I have been asked what relation the Disclosure Project may have to the healing of this consuming and potentially lethal illness that has afflicted humanity in this, the millennium of peace. Is the Disclosure Project relevant in this new world?
Yes, more than ever.
For nearly 10 years we have been meeting with senior CIA, Pentagon and political figures, advocating a general disclosure on so-called UFOs, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and related energy and propulsion systems currently held by illegal, 'classified' projects. These projects, unsupervised by the Congress or President, are illegal, rogue, shadowy operations that are a direct threat to both short term and long-term national and world security concerns. Their 'black' funding status deprives genuine security, intelligence and military programs of much needed support and technological resources. And they are withholding from valid, legal projects the new technologies that could both prevent and intercept the catastrophe of 9/11.
The valid, true, legal government of We The People is deprived of both technologies and funding that could have prevented the massive national security and intelligence failure that led to the events of 9/11. While conventional and legal programs are starved for staffing and new technologies, clandestine and rogue black projects are awash in upwards of $100 Billion per year. Largely privatized, these operations have both the means and the technologies to have prevented 9/11. And yet they did nothing.
Why? Because they do not exist. Consider these words of Sen. Inouye: "There exists a shadowy Government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself."
In the unacknowledged world of such projects (see the book 'Disclosure' by this author) there exist the technologies to monitor, intercept and penetrate the terrorist cells of Osama bin Laden and others. But this is a case of not just the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing: the left hand does not even know the right hand exists.
Such 'shadowy' projects hide within the vast bureaucracy of government, military intelligence, corporate, laboratory and institute operations in the U.S. and abroad - compartmented away from the public, the Congress and usually even the President, CIA Director and Secretary of Defense. The Disclosure Project has penetrated these projects, obtained testimony, code names and facility locations. The illegal nature of such projects, their highly compartmented nature and their large financial resources prevents normal oversight and control by the government of the people. They are able to avoid detection, work in compartmented cells funded by clandestine sources and evade interception by even skilled investigators in the Congress, Department of Defense and CIA. Indeed, their modus operandi are not dissimilar from the very terrorist cells we are trying to penetrate and neutralize.
Let no one interpret this as an indictment of 'The Government', 'The CIA', 'The Pentagon' etc. On the contrary, the point is that the conventional, legal government, military and intelligence community are for the most part the first victims of these operations, not the perpetrators. In fact, in meetings with the head of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J-2), the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Director of the CIA, I have learned first hand of their frustration and horror at the unchecked power of these rogue operations that undermine our security and make a mockery of the rule of law and the constitution, as Sen. Inouye correctly observed. I am sure 99%+ of the conventional government, military and intelligence community are not only denied access to these projects, but are victimized, blind-sided and hindered by them.
In short, The Disclosure Project stands ready to provide Congressional and other government investigators with the insider witnesses who can expose these operations and put them back under the control of the legitimate government - where they can do the people some good. I have little doubt that such projects possess - and are withholding from the legal government - the means to prevent another 9/11.
Beyond this, in 1994 Dick D'Amato, then senior counsel to the Senate Appropriations Committee, told me personally that with a subpoena power and a top secret clearance, he could not penetrate such rogue projects - and that somewhere between $40 billion and $80 billion per year were going into such unsupervised operations. And that was in 1994 dollars! In the zero sum game of government budgets, this means today upwards of $100 billion per year is being siphoned off into operations of dubious value, which do not benefit - and may erode - our national security.
The operational readiness and competence of our intelligence and military community are being undermined by such 'shadowy' projects - and yet after 10 years of meetings with our leaders in Washington, at the U.N. and in other countries, we still see that nothing is being done about it. We the people, the media and the armed services must demand a change, before it is really too late. Our government, our nation, the people and our courageous men and women in the military and intelligence community need and deserve better. We must stand-down these rogue projects and give back to the people and the people's representatives the means to protect and defend our nation and the civilized world.
But these near-term concerns, though grave, are subordinate to a larger, more fundamental problem: Clandestine projects, largely privatized in the contracting sector of shadowy corporate/government operations, are withholding from the public the definitive cure for the underlying illness: Oil.
We have hundreds of witnesses whose testimony, government documents and related evidence will prove that UFOs exist - and that some of them are made by humans using extraordinary breakthroughs in physics, energy generation and propulsion. In short, the technologies needed to replace the internal combustion engine and fossil fuels already exist in these clandestine projects - projects that we the people have paid for.
Make no mistake about it: We have not needed oil, and especially Mid-east oil, for decades, and we can prove it. And yet the cornerstone of our foreign policy and presence in that troubled region has been directed at securing cheap, abundant and reliable supplies of oil. Again, the conventional government, diplomats, Congressional leaders and so forth are completely unaware of the existence of these new energy and propulsion systems. So they blindly pursue policies to ensure the continued safe supply of that noxious stuff that runs the entire western economy. Unaware of these clandestine projects- projects that hide behind a bogus claim of national security- our leaders do the best they can, with both hands tied behind their backs and a blindfold over both eyes.
This is not to excuse in any way the evil, monstrous and inhuman acts of Osama bin Laden or others of his ilk. There can be no rationalizing such horrific deeds. But we can understand it: Why him, why us, why now: why.
Fanatics like bin Laden are hell-bent on running America out of the Middle East because they view our presence there as a virtual invasion of their land, culture and values. They view us as an imperial power colonizing their region in order to secure cheap oil, and it is resented. To a lesser extent, they are concerned about our support for Israel, but bin Laden himself has made it very clear in numerous speeches that their main concern is getting the US out of Saudi Arabia, the land containing the most holy sites in the Islamic world. For decades, our foreign and military policy- whether in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran or elsewhere- has been driven by our strategic oil and energy interests.
As we learned on 9/11, the price of oil has been much higher than we thought.
While never condoning the evil deeds of bin Laden et al, we must recognize that such malevolence does not evolve in a vacuum. The milieu that gave rise to such atrocities must be understood and corrected.
The good news is that the Disclosure Project can prove that we have a replacement for oil, coal and conventional energy. In a decade we could reach energy independence: bin Laden et al may keep their oil, for we will not need it.
For 50 years, America and the world have had their destiny hijacked by rogue, shadowy projects that have abused the national security act to suppress these energy and propulsion systems. Our foreign policy, oil and energy policy and environmental policy have all been driven by what is hidden in clandestine projects. Our leaders, scientists, policy makers and the people have not known that the definitive solution to the world's energy, environmental and poverty problems have been stolen from us. It is time we take them back.
Things called UFOs have been seen for decades. What are they, where are they from, how do they work. In these answers lie the solution to the world geo-political crisis, third world poverty, oil, pollution and many other pressing concerns. We have the answers. Is anybody listening?
The events of 9/11 are truly tragic: they were preventable. Operationally, we could have and should have intercepted that mission of terror - if only our good and courageous men and women in the military and intelligence world had the resources stolen by rogue projects. And the root cause of the problem - our oil policy and dominant presence in the Middle East- is a problem of our own making. We have allowed these 'shadowy' projects to grow and they have taken from us the definitive solution to the oil and energy crisis.
An old Chinese saying states that 'Unless we change directions, we are likely to end up where we are going...' As we look at where we are going, can anyone question that we must change directions - and soon?
The Disclosure Project is dedicated to bringing forth the information and top-secret government witnesses so that these rogue programs are returned to the government of the people. We are dedicated to disclosing these energy and propulsion systems that will give us the means to become energy independent. This is a tide that will lift all boats. This is the beginning of a new chapter in human history.
So as we remember those fallen on 9/11, let us see through our tears to a course of action. Let our actions be our remembrance. Let our actions bring forth the means for opening a new chapter in human history - one of abundance, justice, equality and peace. All that we need has been given - and again stolen - from us. Do we have the courage to bring it forth?
The day those terrible events occurred in New York and Washington, I vowed that we must redouble our efforts to disclose the truth. And more: to start a project to disclose and build those new energy and propulsion technologies to forever replace our need for oil. Please join us if you can help. Our actions to build the world anew will be the most fitting memorial to those innocents who left this world on 9/11.

OK, so you're a skeptic. You are not a bad person - just because you had a knee-jerk response to Dr. Greer's letter. Give me news, not speculation, and I'm a happy camper. Nothing really new here. The Internet is full of it. Why does it appear here?
And interestingly enough, many of these sort of things that pop up are being spammed to all the IMCs. A certain amount of toleration is called for, but part of the IMC process is feedback from the audience. It goes with the turf and ignoring the seemingly ridiculous only adds to its "credibility" for the gullible. And I prefer to adds links to alternative information, where appropriate. It's a little hard to "disprove" this sort of stuff, though. I haven't been to outer space lately, so I can't tell you the traffic count on the Lunar Freeway. I guess you just have to take the guys word for it. I personally worry a lot more about real CIA ops, which tend to kill people on a regular basis. Now something about that would be news.
Is it going to be Spamwire or Newswire?
If I want to read stuff like this, I can stand in line at the grocery store and get it for free. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I would hope that the Newswire can be at least one notch above that sort of journalism.

I went to the Campaign for Disclosure in Vancouver on September 9, 2001. The presentation included a 2 hour video of witness testimony from several of the 460+ military and intelligence personnel willing to disclose what they know about the big cover up on this subject. Carol Rosen was one of the speakers there and she said that the people keeping this hidden are also pushing for the weaponization of space (missile defence). She said they are "working faster than you can imagine" their goal being to have weapons up in space and operational before people even have a chance to protest it. One of their reasons she told us 2 days before the WTC attack would be "Terrorists". |

If they have all this advanced technology available is available to the government, why the hell do the taxpayers have to buy a entire new, relatively low-tech (at least in comparison to the claims made above) weapons system to put into space?
Just put it on the flying saucer or beam it up, right?
Damn sure, I'm not going to buy them another one if they already have all the geewhiz stuff from Alpha Centauri. I wouldn't buy they another weapon on Earth, for that matter.
I think you can be both against the weaponization of space and against flaky stories they didn't make the cut at X-Files. I see no contradiction there. I think there is a rather obvious one in your argument.
PS A little discussion livens up things. We actually have entirely too few comments to articles. Maybe I stand out because I'm willing to speak my mind. I actually encourage more discussion and commentary at every opportunity.

I've never seen any of you post an article anywhere here, so i'm doubting that you're even separate people and not just aliases of either "Dr." Greer or Deaf Bobby just stirring the shit.
if what you're all vouching for is so importantly true, and "Dr." Greer runs his own website and has so much testimony on videotape, then why do you need to bother with small potatoes like the Urbana IMC? Certainly there are forums that would be far more effective, no?

AN AFTERNOON WITH STEVEN GREER
September 9, 2001
"The Disclosure Project" arrived in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday, September 9, 2001. It was an historic visit. Vancouver was their first stop beyond the continental United States, their first stop in Canada, and the beginning of their movement out into the world. Dr. Greer intends them to visit Vancouver annually.
"The Disclosure Project" was held at Simon Fraser University, immediately east of the City of Vancouver. Its beautiful, modern campus perches on the top of a low mountain, overlooking the City yet close to the stars, and seemed to us a perfect venue for this special presentation about UFOs and space. 450 people attended the 5-hour session that day, and what struck us most was the range of their ages, from teens to great-grandparents.
From the moment the host introduced himself, promptly at 1:30, the crowded room was totally silent, and we all sat, spellbound by the information that swirled about us. First, a 2-hour video was shown that included astonishing accounts from courageous retired military, government and aerospace personnel. All of these witnesses possessed documented evidence of sightings and government cover-ups that, had it been revealed, could have ruined their reputations and destroyed their careers.
After a brief, 20-minute break, Steven Greer took the stage and began his presentation. "I am just a country doctor from Virginia who could not walk away from the truth," he began. With those words, he captured our minds and our hearts, as did Alfred Webre and Carol Rosin, who followed him in turn.
"The Disclosure Project" was the shortest long afternoon we ever spent. It was full of anger and frustration at the stubborn and shortsighted governments who conspire to conceal the existence of UFOs and plan to arm space with high-tech weaponry. But it was also full of humor and hope, for what Steven Greer and his associates have already accomplished, and for what we, their audiences, can do to further their mission.
Those of us from the Vancouver PAG group who attended "The Disclosure Project" were fascinated by how closely its information dovetailed with Sheldan's. They are like two sides of the same coin.
Below are a few items from our notes. They are in random order and point form. (The notes were taken in a darkened theatre so you may find some of the information fragmented.)

Astronaut Gordon Cooper was shown proof before the lunar landing that there are artificial structures on the moon, built before the US arrived. There is a base on the back side of the moon containing massive structures, 1/2 mile in size, some with reflective surfaces.
ET Retrieval
There have been at least two dozen. 3 or 5 bodies were retrieved from Roswell; 1 was partially alive when found. Eisenhower's fear for the decentralization of UFO research: "It's not going to be in the best hands".
Ship Sighting: Big; teardrop-shaped; purplish-green; colour shifted; deep bass hum; 'fish-gill' fence - for propulsion
UFO at sighting at Fort Dix. An ET was shot & wounded there. It headed for McGuire Air Force Base, where it died.
Someone who saw ET's said, "They are living, breathing creatures, as mortal as you and I."

Government Secrecy
Compartmentalization keeps UFO info secret from even those with adequate clearance. It's beyond a "need to know". Fewer than 50 people in the intelligence community are aware of UFO info. Their greatest weapon is this compartmentalization within government that debunks the truth. It extends even to the President - mentioned Carter, specifically. There are 38 levels above 'Top Secret': highest level is 'Cosmic'.
1993: How do we disclose what we don't have access to? Even the US President was denied access; even sitting CIA Directors who knew UFO's existed were denied access by compartmentalization.
Werner von Braun knew that space weaponry was being planned decades ago, and that an ET threat would be used to justify weapons in space. In his last years, he fought against space weapons.
According to Von Braun's sequence of rationalization, the Americans would use a progressive chain of enemies: Russians----terrorists----Third World crazies----asteroids----extraterrestrials to justify their use of space weaponry. Von Braun said that the rationales would accelerate until they would suddenly be a 'fait accompli'.
A few people are playing a costly game of weapons for their own power. That game is based in the U.S.
Greer: Intimidation of personnel continues to maintain secrecy. People are threatened with discreditation; with court martial; and with transfer to the Far North ("Alaska"). On the video, Daniel Salter mentioned 3 levels of intimidation. One is ridicule. The ultimate threat: "You will be erased". He says that, "these people are evil".
Why the secrecy?
Greer: From the '30's to the '50's, governments felt that society was unprepared, psychologically, religiously and culturally. That argument is no longer relevant. Secrecy evolved to protect the economic order and special interests, such as gasoline-based and propulsion-based energies. We now have technologies that will supersede these energies.
"If we're the only ones in the universe, God sure has bad judgment."
A member of the US Congress told Greer, "the fact that you are here [in his office] means that time is short".
Ancient Chinese saying: "Unless we change directions, we will end up where we are going".
Greer calls the move toward space weaponry "2001: A Space Idiocy".
The internal combustion engine will give us a "Mad Max" scenario by the end of this decade. We have not needed the internal combustion engine since 1955.
"The Disclosure Project" is about choosing a good future for humanity.
In our lifetime, we have begun to commit "planet-icide".
We need a rapprochement between the 1st and the 3rd Worlds. The good news is that if we disclose facts and disseminate technologies for peaceful purposes and enter space, forswearing violence there, we can thus create an abundant civilization for the next generations.
Greer approached high-level people. Eight years later, he is here. In spite of it all, he has no regrets. He asks himself the question: 'Is this the right thing to do?' When the answer is 'yes', he acts and is content.
"The Campaign for Disclosure has been launched and we will persist until our goals are met."
The people of Earth deserve to know the truth. We must get the word out, empower ourselves. There is a universal flow, but we must put ourselves in its way. Without thought of personal gain, we must 'look beyond to 20 generations' (Cherokee saying) and now, even more, to 20 million generations.
The most discouraging thing is that people in high places pass the buck. He met with people, even the head of NASA's Commission to Planet Earth, who wouldn't help because of their careers.
We must act so that they [our leaders] will follow. "Courage in Washington DC is the rarest of all commodities".
Government secrecy is a serious problem. A rogue secret government has perverted government agendas for the US and Canada.
If things don't change, we are headed toward an increased erosion of our human rights.
Greer met with Lawrence Rockefeller. Also met with Mrs. Boutros-Gali at U.N., who told him: "It's too dangerous for Boutros".
We must encourage our leaders to call for hearings and investigations. They need the support of a mass call from the people so that they can act.
The human race will endure. We have created dysfunction on earth. Cosmic co-dependency keeps us from recognizing our own powers to make these changes.
ETs are not hostile; otherwise we would be long gone. Greer says that a cosmic quarantine is going on until we lose our weapons of mass destruction.

Alfred lives in Vancouver.
Jimmy Carter was a UFO contactee in 1969 in Georgia. As a result of this encounter, his consciousness was raised.
As a campaign promise, Carter promised to announce UFO existence. The Carter White House started out pro-UFO - Ham Jordan, Jody Powell, etc - but, by June 1977, their plans had all been shut down by secrecy. (Webre was told that he would lose his contract if he didn't back off.)
2001 is a year of breakthroughs. "The Disclosure Project" is a breakthrough, because people are coming forward to speak their truths. US Congressman Dennis Kucinich will introduce a bill to ban space-based weapons on October 2. This is a breakthrough, too. On July 26, John Manley, Canada's Foreign Minister, announced Canada's initiative to ban space-based weapons. Two Canadian Government senior defense critics have contacted "The Disclosure Project" to assist in banning space-based weapons and in alien disclosure.
Webre: "The Universe is highly populated, highly regulated and beneficent."
Russia, China and now Canada, are all beginning to safeguard outer space. The war machine is an empty shell that we can transform. 500 well-placed faxes can change the world.

'Mission Possible' is her action plan
Rosin started as 6th Grade science teacher. As the result of her 'spaceship earth' teaching unit, she met Werner Von Braun, who told her to report to work with him at Fairchild 3 weeks later. He taught her who the players were for weapons in space.
She phoned Saddam Hussein from her kitchen to ask why he was lighting oil wells on fire.
"We are all living under a canopy of lies." We know the truth, and are looking for people who are reachable.
Use websites as a base for communications.
Rosin focuses on space-based weapons.
"None of them are hostile", she says of ET's.
"The Disclosure Project" on May 9, 2001 was the largest press conference ever held at the US Press Club. "TDP" is careful to highlight only credible people and issues. "TDP" is activating a global movement to transform the entire weapons industry and its mindset. Given weapons' potential for devastation, that movement is imperative. (In the last ½ hour, since Rosin began her talk, 32,000 children have died.)
People outside the US must contact everyone they know to get this movement going in their countries.
George W. Bush is accelerating space weapons programs.
Bush will do anything now - it's all based on lies.
We should bring people in from the military industrial complex to learn what's in their field. The military has a role to play for peace in space. And they'd rather do that than fight.
Everyone must get involved. Focus on the good everyone, even the war industry, can do.
We can create "peace on earth through peace in space".
Answers to Questions from the Audience:
The biggest supporters of "The Disclosure Project" are from those in the military industrial complex who learn of it and know the true risks of our inaction.
There must be honest disclosure. Secrecy is like an abscess that has festered for 60 years.
If people knew the benevolent nature of life in the universe, they would move us ahead.
Governments are masters of spin. So many people have been brainwashed (re: aliens) "The Disclosure Project" speaks of getting to know our neighbors in space.
Strategic Deception - space weapons have been ongoing since the '70's - and are really going on, now.
What we think is being done by terrorists may actually be done by space-based weaponry.
Role of musicians and artists - "Organizing Artists for Disclosure" - will include Bono of U2, ZZ Top. A record company in Boulder is helping Greer to organize a CD.
The visual and creative arts can be used positively, rather than for disinformation, as they are now. Carol Rosin is trying to reach people with positive images of aliens in cinema and education.
Greer: Faraday, Tesla advocated getting energy from existing space.
Braun worked on anti-gravitic energy. Boeing has had anti-gravity propulsion systems since '50's.
Rosin suggests that people take the media to lunch. Present disclosure as a positive, and see the media person as a positive agent.

Amazing and interesting.
I agree but need more evidence. I dont think 9/11 should be considered the single event to bring about change on a global scale. Osama doesn't deserve that credit. The state of the environment is enough of a reason for global rethinking and disclosing of the truth. Good luck and for all of us I hope the disclosure succeeds. |
