Directions from Champaign-Urbana:
Take I-57 South to Effingham, then 1-70 West to Exit 11. Go North on Highway 157/Bluff Road to Eastport Plaza Drive, turn Left. Continue to Gateway Drive, turn right. Gateway Center is located on your left. |

My understanding is that Dubya came, he saw, and he mangled the English language. It also became apparent that Dubya wasn't too cognizant of where he was. No less than eight times, our dumb-as-a-bag-of-hammers leader referred to Collinsville as "this part of the world." This is Dubya's routinely used fall-back description for places whose names he seems not to have stored in his limited hard drive upstairs. For examples of Dubya's platitudes in Collinsville, as well as other insipid statements throughout his horrible presidency, check out www.dubyaspeak.com. It's priceless, and good for a belly laugh as an antidote to the last four mind-numbing years under Dubya and his pack of corrupt, law-breaking, and unethical cronies.
