The time has come to stand up for the Spirit of Liberty |
The Bill of Rights is the American People's Ten Commandments of Freedom. Therefore, it should be regarded as sacred and inviolate.
No-one has the right to bend it, tweak it or ignore it -- even for a little while.
When our Law Officers, Judge and Prosecuters, Our soldiers and their officers, the President and every member of Congress enter into public service, they swear an oath to "Support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies: foreign and domestic."
They swear an oath to "Support and defend the Constitution of the United States" -- not the government, not the political party in power.
Unfortunately, few politicians, including the president -- and even fewer law officers -- honor that oath. Today, officials who are sworn to protect the Constitution and serve the public are actively engaged in the destruction of our civil liberties.
The Bill of Rights is the only protection that "We the People..." have against an abusive government. If you don't support the people's right to live as free individuals -- you oppose everything this nation stands for.

Dear -,
As a matter of fact, I have read the Constitution. Have you? I must admit that I found your United Nations proclamation or parity pretty darn funny, considering that well over half of the countries represented at the UN come from dictatorships and who care not a wit for the people the govern. To them, these are just words that sound good but mean little.
So what's your point?

Agreed Walter, and every time a liberal Democrat legislator attempts to push forward their unconstitutional "gun control" laws on honest law abiding citizens of the United States, they should be jailed, and then forced to memorize your statement. |
