1/4 of the globe is polarized over Palestine/Israel. You and yours are not so speciall that you get to spam other IMCs with your conflicts on this issue
Stick to writing a "news" story on how the Mideast conflict is affecting the independent press or IMCs, or the whole "left", without the stupid and lazy personal attacks, that are irrelevant and a gigantic waste of time, for the rest of us volunteering our time. |

You don't seem to be making much sense with you comment above. UC IMC suffers as a target the same as others do from the spamcrap that the person who is responsible doles out to satisfy his ego. And no, he will never get his posting privilieges back here, now matter how long he whines about it or even takes his case to other IMCs. You would do well to make you own IMC an unfriendly place for him. If you haven't figured out what he's up to yet, check our hidden files to see the patterns he uses to guide your own decisions
Do you actually think that any IMC will knuckleunder to the demands of the mental midget who is responsible for this? He has picked a fight that he can't win. We will continue to hide and delete his bogus articles as need be here -- it has nothing to do with any political position on Isreal/Palestine. It may give that appearance, but we have found him posting from both sides of this issue, whihc is a sure sign it's only trolling to stir people up and not any political position that he might stand for.
What you do with his crap elsewhere is up to you. But your suggestion seems to imply that we, the victims, are responsible for these attacks on ourselves and his attacks on you. Pull you head out of your ass and see the real world of the tiny handful of people who make it their life's work to attack Indymedia.
My personal feeling is that IMCs who want to blame the editorial policies of other IMCs for the crap he can no longer spew here are buying into the trool's objective, which coincidentaly is exactly the kind of objective that COINTELPRO programs seek to achieve. So it comes down to which side are you on? Indymedia or the government trolls that infest it ? |

The spammer is infamous for stealing other people's nicks, so I doubt that it is somebody from here replying, just a pathetically forged name over the same crap. Again, this sort of stuff is classic COINTELPRO ops -- don't get suckered in by it.
On the other hand, when you allow defamatory and fabricated stories about other IMCs to stay up, you have to give those attacked the right of reply, so genuine replies from those he is attacked have to be expected. The right of reply is a fundamental Indymedia principle. That said, there is no fundamental right to spam BS to the Indymedia network.
It would be helpful if you have some links to cases where you think this is occuring. I'll give you my opinion on whetehr or not they are legitimate or just annother can of overripe spam. |

Yes, I have been replying to posts in which I've been attacked for subverting the IMCs. Not every one -- nor every site on which I've been attacked by the spammer, which is at least a dozen in the last week -- but some of the more outrageous ones.
In this case, the DAN-SPAM guy is just copycatting Joseph Anderson's massive spam attack of a few days back. The fact that he's spamming an attack on me doesn't make make me responsible for the spam, any more than the photos of kittens spammed onto Vancouver IMC a few months ago were the kittens' fault.
