ANOTHER CARTOON AND ANOTHER POEM Current rating: 0
29 Sep 2004
The poem below from the set 'Alice in The Country Behind Looking Glass' is dedicated to upcoming debate on White House International Policy and also to events, which have accompanied the short while ago the RNC. Some IMC members were victims of these events.
So, here is the illustration and the poem

The Song of The Lost Dog's Temper

Dogs have the nicest nature,
As people are aware,
They don't need any lectures,
If they're treated fair.

I am The Lost Dog's Temper.
When I am angry I grow.
And, as I can remember,
Sometimes I might even blow!

If master is behaving well with it,
In exchange dog is also nice.
Dog is then fully committed,
And can even offer its life!

I am The Lost Dog's Temper.
When I am angry I grow.
And, as I can remember,
Sometimes I might even blow!

However, if the dog's master
Behaves like a cruel, cheap thug,
Dog then can become a disaster,
Which no one would want to hug!

I am The Lost Dog's Temper.
When I am angry I grow.
And, as I can remember,
Sometimes I might even blow.

For the normal life dogs need food,
And a lot of common sense.
If common sense is getting moot,
Masters'd, sure, get a bad chance!

I am The Lost Dog's Temper.
When I am hungry I grow.
And, as I can remember,
Sometimes I might even blow.

As all The Lost Tempers
Of The Behind Glass country,
Might once come to the center
And grow without boundaries!

I am The Someone's Lost Temper.
When I am angry I'd grow.
And I ask you to remember
That sometimes I could badly blow

Anna, I'm concerned about the graphic. The dogs look like the (copyrighted) Disney character, Goofy. Although we provide an open public newswire, I don't think we allow infringement. (Someone else please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Yes, they are from this Disney staff. However, I don't call them to be my full own creation and I am illustrating with them MY poems. It is pretty easy to pull them out of Internet. Is it forbidden to use them as illustration os my poems if I properly combine them? I don't think so. I am pulling a lot of other pictures from Internet as well. There is possibility (official) to copy a lot of stuff. This current web site is allowing to copy as well. I really don't understand your concern. I am doing practically all my illustrations by pulling different stuff from Internet and combining it with a little bit of my own correction, recombination or whichever. If it was forbidden, then, I guess, there wouldn't be no possibility to copy pictures from practically all sites in Internet. Correct me, if I am wrong!

And, wayward, correct me, if I am wrong, but in my opinion all other cartoons on this web site(or main part of them) are created by the same approach of combination of some known characters. I am not only combining different characters and different parts of different pictures, making my publications but also accompanying all of them by my original poems or my own translations. So, I am sure that you shouldn't be specifically concern with copy rights office on my account, therefore!

Actually, I'm quite confident that Darrin does not create his cartoons by lifting images from Disney.

Oh, yes, there is a lot of other sources!

And get a grip, would you? What are your problems? You are immeditely hiding comments if they gave some positive evaluation of my poetry and other creative stuff of mine. I am not violating ANYTHING. You should be very grateful to me that I am placing QUALIFIED stuff on your web in difference with a lot of other publications here.
And , if you are thinking that my publications are not good, show that you, yourself, can DO BETTER, would you? It would be the only proof that your objections have any of value, except of demonstrations of different sides of bad nature(s), yours, others, etc..

Oh, yes, there is a lot of other sources!

Like his talent and imagination?

Let's not get into a comparison of the quality of your work to some of the other posts on this website.

Yeah, talent and imagination are used to combine sources, like, for example, Makintosh software, which I am sure he is using. This was very popular cartoon imitating software, and his posting are reminding me it very, very much!!
Besides, it is always easy to recognize when someone is utilizing computer patterns or not. And the case of D. Drda cartoons is obviously the first one!!
And finally, if you want to promote to me his creativity, I am evaluating it myself, and also see obvious features like obvious utilization of computer patterns, not clearly stated main ideas, etc.. Though there are some positive features too. In any occasion, I am not taking such kind of orders as "let us not compare.."
If you try to show me that you, yourself, is better than me, than show ANYTHING of your creations, besides obscene comments.
Why should I be forbidden to compare my production with other. Are you going to hide my comments immediately because you have as usually NOTHING to answer. Don't you think that what you are doing hiding positive evaluation of my stuff when they (these comments) have nothing more but these evaluation speaks very eloquently of what you, yourself, are and are not capable of. I am sure that any fair reader of this comment would agree with me. So, you should immediately hide my comments as you are doing usually under such circumstances!
And last time, be normal people, don't hide comments if the fault of these comments and articles is the fact that people want to have different than yours opinions and tastes!!
Who to the hell is giving you such rights?
Who are you, God Allmighty? I don't think so!!

For the record, I'm not an admin on this board and have never hidden any of your comments. With the artwork, using a computer isn't a problem, but infringing on a copyright is. As far as the recommendation that we not compare your work to others, I was suggesting that it would be nice to avoid a flamewar.

And what are you trying to avoid? I came to this IMC, which advertised their help in cases of civil rights violations, injustice, etc., after we ( I and my husband) were victimized by local authorities under the pressure of global. Nobody bothered to help us or even to try to check out what I was and am saying (look over my comments to the article of K. Kranich about T. Miller and P. Thompson case of easdropping). Yeah, they (Z. Miller, D. Chynowetz, others ) didn't check my story, but gangsters in Chicago made that time unsuccessful attempt to trash our stuff in Pubic Storage to destroy our proofs. Another attempt of 5/27/04 was successful., they trashed out stuff, but the proofs and our lives are still in our possession. Watching "willing help" of this community and this "supporter of human rights-IMC" actions, I doubt that we (I and my husband) are going to save our lives for a substantial while more. We are under the torture, all kind of violations of our rights, and the very reality of death in front of your very eyes for more than a year now, and you are telling me that you are trying "to avoid war". Our only fault that WE HAVE PROVEN TALENTS, and want to live normal lives using these talents to help community and to utilize deserved fruits of these talents OURSELVES. We are being victimized and tortured for that on regular basis IN FRONT OF IMC eyes, and you are telling me about "avoiding war". If you are going to sleep well at night and be in peace with yourself after this exchange of comments with me, doing NOTHING as usually to help us, you are HYPOCRITICAL to the marrow of your bones. Also suicidal as well. As what my husband is not allowed to do, being placed under unbearable circumstances, is to finish and to implement the powerful and comparatively cheap substitution for combustion engine to resolve oil shortage problems, pollution problems, global warming problems, etc.. Revolutionary invention, isn't it ? Not surprising , however, because he is the pioneer of the another revolutionary invention-"computer on a chip". All your demonstrations against the mentioned above things WORSE MUCH LESS, THEREFORE, than normal conditions for him to finish his prototype. I am sure that you can understand it.
Read my article "The Past, The Present, The Future " here on this web. So, he is being tortured and practically killed in front of your IMC eyes, and you are telling me "to avoid war". Damn you and your entire establishment! Suicidal, brainless, and cowardice idiots ! That is who you are!
Pertinent to the simple logical approach, YOUR IMC ENTIRE ACTIVITY ON THIS WEB AND IN ANY OTHER AREA IN THEIR ENTIRETY have less positive impact than what my husband can bring when he finish his prototype. So, don't ever try to talk to me about "comparison"!

How did a conversation about Goofy and copyrighting end up like this? Whoa.

The name of character is not Guffy, but Pluto.
The reason for such sharp comments as above is the obvious fact that organizers of your establishment activities (or the decisive majority of them) are not really concern with any cause , which they are officially preaching about, but only with own self-promotions and own careers, as my case is brightly illustrating.
I, myself, has been trying still to get help from your establishment. But your establishment reaction is showing also very brightly that I can only get some new "pogrom" of my stuff, if I continue my persistence. Amazing, isn't it?
