I think Michael Moore was remiss in not featuring a reading and resources list before the credits of his film. I therefore hope to place a stack of small reading list flyers on the pamphlet table at the Art Theatre in Champaign, IL. Yeah, I know; I should have done so sooner. Anyway, here's what I have so far:
Michael Moore, "Dude, Where's My Country?"
Craig Unger, "House of Bush, House of Saud."
Edward S. Herman & Noam Chomsky, "Manufacturing Consent."
Noam Chomsky, "Understanding Power."
Noam Chomsky, "Keeping the Rabble in Line."
Howard Zinn, "A People's History of the United States."
democracynow.org.
"NOW with Bill Moyers," Friday nights on PBS.
I would appreciate any suggestions for additions to this list. I will definitely get the lists placed before Friday night.
Thanks,
Matt |

Fear Breeds Ignorance yet again .. .. ..
oh so shameful ! Some democracy we
tout to the rest of the world. If money is the
root of all evil, which party has it's closests
ties to big business. If a liar is the first to
question another's honesty, then why is the
elephant so quick to question the donky's
patriatism ? Still bothers me. |
