EXXON Mobil Chief say's it all, America is Doomed! Current rating: 0
09 Jun 2004
Modified: 08:45:32 PM
Whether these statements indicate his hopes and beliefs or his downright convictions, it states our world is not for long to be, as we know it.
On June 8, 2004 Mr. Lee Raymond of EXXON Mobil said, just what belies everything that has been touted as an energy savior for America.

Currently there are no developments under design or in the prototype stage, that can significantly reduce America’s oil glut and the resulting negative effect on the Environment.

However, there just could be one!

The Heat Engine.

Designed to make mechanical motion from the output of a 40watt light bulb to a full raging highly oxygenated fuel flame. Alternatively, the focused infrared rays of almost any level of sunlight. The Heat engine can be scaled to almost any size.

This device just may be one answer.

Energy translation is very difficult to accomplish currently.
Solar Cells, which are less than 60% efficient and somewhat fragile have to be, connected to an electric motor, which is about 75% at best, efficiency, net energy loss of about 65%.

The internal combustion Gasoline motor is about 68% efficient, because a good part of the energy of fuel consumption is wasted heating the engine, block and lost through the exhaust.

The Diesel motor is slightly more efficient, but noisy and expensive to manufacture and maintain. About 72% efficiency at best.

Both of these engines create Carbon Dioxide that adds to the Greenhouse effect, which is felt though our weather changes, draughts, flooding and such.

If the USA were to dramatically, increase its Corn Alcohol production, wind and solar methods of energy generation, then I believe a dent could be made in the energy glut and a strike for the environment, burning corn alcohol does not produce carbon dioxide.

In addition, there are ways to build cities that reduce the energy consumption, provide greater security, living style upgrades and convenience. America needs to begin to rebuild these cities this way, for the future.

All of you who can access the Internet and read this article are enjoying the results of my efforts from 1968 through 1972.

When I purchased the PDP-8/S in 1967, I made the comment to the newspapers that computers would out number toasters in the near future. It took almost 20 years, but it happened.

I can make the same kind of prediction now, that if America changes her ways, by adopting a less energy consumptive habit, the rest of the world will follow. Our collective World shall improve!

There is something you readers could do to assist me to achieve the Heat Motor prototype construction
Spend a little time and 37 cents to write a letter to:
Honorable Judge Forehand of the Chesapeake VA City Court.

His address is 307 Albermarle Dive, Suite 300 A, Chesapeake, VA 23322-5579

Please say that he should have found in my favor in his decision to isolate me from the money I am due for work I did here in Champaign/Urbana.

As you know, Champaign MTD buses have a lot of new equipment on board, guess who was the Manager of the installation crew, Me, I haven't been paid more than $10,000.00 of my wages and expenses for running that project.

Judge Forehand is the decisive factor in that collection action.

That project was the entire reason I first came to Champaign, which is the ninth city where this work has been performed under my management.

Over the past few decades many ideas have come forthe or showen up in the market place, only to be gobbled up by the oil companies before they could be put into daily use - ie carburator designs that delivered 98% efficiency - water injection systems that would increase HP by 40 to 60% or even some ideas for a momentum engine that used no energy. We have the means to develope and produce a heat engine, why is there no funding either public, private or governmental made available for the needed research and development of these forms of alternative power.

Lots of people and companies are investing in solar and wind right now, including BP, one of the largest suppliers of solar equipment.

Certainly there needs to be more support. But to say that there is "none" is just wrong when renewable energy industries are growing.

What he meant Joe, is that for small private researchers there is not any funding. In fact, tell me about one black man in the 20th Century that is noted for his contributions to science? These large companies would swallow up the deice and probably cancel it as has happened to many others. Or as with the computer-on-a chip, I was robbed then almost killed. Large companies have problems developing out-of-the-box thinking concepts.

Actually, there is funding for small private research in alternative energy. For example, I read a great article in Discover about a small start-up that is developing a completely new way to make more efficient, small, solar electric devices using miniaturized stepper-motor-controlled mirror arrays.

The claim that no black men have contributed to science in the 20th century is unsupportable. A cursory web search is all it takes to find counterexamples. For instance,

* David Blackwell, winner of the von Neumann Prize and the first African-American to be named to the NAS

* Earl D. Shaw, inventor of the spin-flip tunable laser

* Kenneth Olden, the director of the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences and the first black director in the NIH.

Should I write up a book report?

I'm totally willing to listen to a critique of how science is funded. But the fact that *you* haven't found the support you feel you deserve doesn't mean *there is no support for anyone*. Any scientist knows you can't extrapolate from a sample of one, or even from a larger, biased sample.

You name all that have not made contributions that altered earthshaking events; the items you mentioned are all devices, which do not change how major things, are done. Of course, this is sometimes overlooked if consumer items are involved or for military use.

Moreover, you tell me that a black person is now the head of NAS, you should be ashamed. I had the definite pleasure to have known Dr. Maurice Hardeman, the first black State Supreme Court Justice in California (1958), who was framed, once to get him out of the judgeship, then finally killed by a so-called crazed suicide driver to get him off the bench. I also personally knew Dr. Martin Luther King.

You should be ashamed to name the first Black person at some office or head of any organization, that event should have occurred 20 years ago, there are certainly qualified Blacks to be President of the USA for years! Let us not forget, the native-born Arab, Chinese, Japanese, and Hispanic or Native Indians, and others (all Americans).

Take the wearable oxygen concentrator for example. UOP had the sieve material available since 1989 yet they moth balled the product because they could not recover their costs. Yet, since I refused to give up my design for a pittance (again), in 1990. Beginning in (1992), two years after my initial attempt, five companies made it their Holy Grail to develop such a device, they have not succeeded.

Therefore, here I have three examples where products I wanted to use to solve a problem have been moth balled because sales were low for another application. Yes, if again I was to do as with INTEL, walk in with my design and concept, give up all rights, they could have been completed, and on the market today, to name a few.

Megastore (Tera-byte, worst case access 70ms Read/Write) which would replace hard disk drives with a non-volatile storage unit with cheap non-metallic material, sits undone while DVD's which are easily damaged if improperly handled, require human intervention to load and unload, are difficult to store and retrieve, while Megastore material could be placed into your shirt pocket, run though a washing machine, or dry cleaners, then put back in a Megastore unharmed to work perfectly. Of course, you could destroy it if say you placed it into a microwave oven unit or onto the burner of a stove. But then every electronic device including the DVD would be destroyed, in this situation. The loss, other than 1,240,504,506 bytes of data would cost you less than $1.50! Megastore is mechanically much less complicated than a DVD drive, can be bumped around, turned upside down or whatever without losing data or going off-line.

The other items I want to mention here are:

Stealth: which used, piezo devices to provide security and other processing methods undisclosed.

Magic Chef oven controller: which reduced the cost of production for an electric oven by eliminating the entire switch wiring in the oven, It would be replaced by a simple two-wire-control bus and 3-wire power bus arrangement. Just today, I heard that a manufacturing problem occurred where one burner on an electric stove was left unwired, this unit would have eliminated that problem. In my design, the wiring harness was a printed (flexible-circuit) which if it was not connected upon fire up at the factory the oven controller would have indicated a failed heating unit at that position! To fix it, simply connect the unit and retest, in the case I heard today the wires were missing altogether, it took 3 days to get the unit fixed, maybe not a great loss, but think about the warranty service costs! Personally, I have heard of such events, more than 30 times in my life, and I do not deal in appliances!

You see, I was not suppose to survive long enough to sign on the patent for the I4004 when Dr. Noyce, asked me, my so-called accident was arranged and executed four months prior to that event, just a month after the first anniversary of the eventfull Las Vegas trip.

If the court denied your breach of contract claim you should have filed an appeal. If you failed to file an appeal then decision by the court is final.

Generally speaking, if you fail to fight for your own rights then you lose both.

In the case of Exxon v. American Energy Consumer the responsibility properly lies with the defendant who failed to actively understand the technology and market issues at the outset.
