The wind may be briefly blowing in the right direction on jobs right now, but a president runs for re-election (putting aside the issue for now that W was never really elected, but selected by a friendly Supreme Court) on his overall record. For Bush, it'll take as much smoke and mirrors as the lies that took him to war on Iraq. Only Hoover has a worse record on jobs. Republicans, in general, have never been good for job growth. |
