ROE V. WADE Current rating: 0
23 Jan 2004
Modified: 12:03:30 PM
on the anniversary of roe v. wade, boys and girls gather on the north quad to speak, applaud, and hold signs until the tips of their fingers turn red. march on washington April 25th!
The anniversary of Roe v. Wade last year was the coldest day of the year, officially. Yes, Roe at 30 was below freezing. This year, we think, it was a few degrees warmer. Speakers from Planned Parenthood, NOW, and various campus organization rallied the masses (all 75-100 of them) in cheer and roar and worry.

As we all know, abortion rights and sexual education have been vastly repealed under the terror of the bush administration. Organizations everywhere raise outcry for need, people need to take to the streets again! The time is ripe for a mass demonstration! And such a demonstration is right around the corner.

On April 25th, 2004 millions will march down washington to keep women's right to choose a right, and not a privilege. A bus will be sent from our local planned parenthood (http://www.ppeci.org) and space is no concern. anyone who can go, should go! cost will be $125, but reimbursment is possible. the PPECI is asking for $25 in the next couple months to assure a seat. sign up at http://www.marchforchoice.org/

Dear Zoe,

An estimated 44 million potential protesters will not be able to attend as they were murdered.

Just thought I would let know.

After Birth, Conservatives Could Not Care Less

Of course, after you're born, conservatives could not care less about your health. Witness the fact that 44 million American's lack health care in a nation that spends more per capita than any other on health. Cut out the profits and executive perks of for-profit health care and everyone could be covered for the same cost, or even less, as now. But that is an idea that conservatives fight tooth and nail.

Notice how there is no intention by those like Jack Ryan to assume any responsibility to feed, educate, or care for anyone after birth, yet they still insist that they should be born, even if their mother's realize that it would be irresponsible for them to be brought into the world with adequate resources to care for them.
FYI, Jack

Do not even think of spicing up your comments with any sort of insult toward other posters, like you just did in the comment that is now hidden, if you want your thoughts to stay visible. If you choose to slip in even _one_ of your typical and by now trademarked insults, the whole tainted enchilada will go straight to Hidden Comments, no matter how on-topic the rest of the post is.

The game is over. You can play by the rules or just leave. At this point, if you persist in spite of our policy, it is quite likely that you will be permanently banned from any presence here.

You should refer to this previous comment on your situation if you have any questions, rather than take up more off-topic space here, which will otherwise only add to your woes:
