Leftist kind of have a problem here don't you. On the one hand, you are supposed to be the champs of the minority groups in the US and on the other, you are incredibly beholden to Labor who know they will be forced to compete with Latinos for cheap workers. Workers, who actually work.
I do not support this policy of President Bush, because I think it increases the likelyhood of terrorism with open borders. However, from a pure political move, it is brilliant. Say Goodbye to California and those electoral votes folks.
