We are entering into the most crucial stage of the Dennis Kucinich Presendential campaign. It is vital that we post a strong showing in Iowa in order to be recognized by the media and the rest of the nation as a viable candidate. The following is based on a message by Campaign Worker John Laesch. |
|
California expects to send some 300 Kucinich supporters to Iowa aboard The Peace Train to offer support just before the Iowa Primaries on Jan. 19th 2004. I believe that it is our duty as Iowa’s neighbor to match this effort! If we don't do well in Iowa, there will be no Illinois campaign.
Hundreds of Illinois-based Kucitizens are expected to help at this crucial time in the campaign. This is truly a one time opportunity to do something that can change the course of this election and gain national recognition of the grassroots support of Dennis Kucinich or the lack of it.
This is the moment to put forth an extra effort on our part. If we really want this man to be elected and we really want his message to be heard and change the world, we must step up to the challenge. If there is a voice within you that responds by telling you how over-extended you are with other projects, please challenge that thinking. This is the crucial moment to work outside of your comfort zone until Jan. 19th. THIS IS THE DECIDING MOMENT.
Here is how we can support Iowa:
- Go to Iowa and become a volunteer – Click here to sign up. Illinois is organizing 3 trips. TRIP #1 (Jan. 10-18). TRIP #2 (Jan. 10-11). TRIP #3 (Jan 17-18)
- If you can’t go to Iowa, consider sponsoring another Kucitizen – Click here.
- Phone banking help to contact Iowans from the comfort of your home – Contact John Laesch (309) 314-1794 / jlaesch11@hotmail.com
- Write letters to Iowa citizens and the media – Contact Shoshana Fanizza (847) 836-4980 kanekucinich@sbcglobal.net

Dear Geraldine Perry,
Let's hope that this go round, Iowan's base their vote on the issues rather than height. As a conservative, I just can't fathom a Carol Mosley Braun Administration. Go Dennis, you tiny man, Go!!! BTW, great job as Mayor of Cleveland.
Your Friend,

President Kucinich is the best thing to happen to our country in years! Go Dennis Go!
Great thing he did, saving the people of Cleveland from getting shafted by corrupt local Big Biz, and the Elec Co.
Here's the real story, not the version Limbaugh keeps telling: http://www.kucinich.us/peoplepower.php
What a guy! For a "short man" he stands head-and-shoulders above the rest! And when I'm researching my candidates, I always look at their height, first!
That's how you can tell who'll get the job done - the tallest guy! It's nothing short of a miracle that we didn't all wind-up communists with FDR!

This is the deciding moment for whether or not you waste a weekend of your life. I'll bet you my left gonad - no, in fact, I'll double down for both - that if every other candidate were to die in a plane crash this weekend, he still wouldn't win the nomination, much less the general election. Why would you waste your time, your life, on such a sure loser? Oh, how funny it is to watch the True Believers struggle, struggle, struggle.
Carol Mosely Braun vs. Denny Kucinich in a fist fight: who do you like? I think Carol would beat his ass loud. She's girthy, and has better range. |

Dear BFD,
I LOL at your comment about Kucinich. Well done and nice to see you back in the game.
I actually lived in a suburb of Cleveland when the "boy mayor" took over the city. They guy nearly killed it and was nearly Grey Davised out of there.
Anyway, he probably supports most of the NutBag ideas you see daily on this site.
It does not surprise me that the Anti Jack is 100% behind this guy. The only question now, is who will finish in the cellar in IA. Carol or Dennis? My guess right now is that Ms. Braun will probably be in Nigeria on Caucus night and Dennis may actually pull in 3%.
I do have a question? Can a candidate be recalled in a primary election?
Just Curious,
Jack

Hey it's me Jack,
I have been working late like most conservatives do and I was curious to know how the candidates from the left did in Iowa.
How did the Kucinich left wing message of: I will repeal all the tax cuts and give everything to everyone except the rich go over?
How did the anti-war candidates do? You know Carol, Dennis, and Howard Dean? How did the Union vote do? Did they come out in the droves (The droves that they still have left in favor of Dick) I know alot of you are big supporters of Dick and I know he ran hard.
I am just curious to know. Are you on the path of nominating another northeastern liberal in the Dukakis mode or will it be a Southerner in the Clinton (I am truly sorry about that dress) mode.
For those of you who went on an all expense paid trip to Iowa in the Kucinich Campaign. Does anyone need a ride back to Cleveland?
Your Good Friend,
Jack |
