Streets Of Miami - 4:00 PM EST: Police Make Violent Advance Against Protestors |

U-C IMC Reporters just called in from the streets of Miami, reporting that a line of police in riot gear made a sudden charge against protestors.
Our reporters are not sure if there was any provocation from protestors to cause the police to advance. Police were using concussion grenades and some sort of unidentified gas.
Our reporters are retreating away from police, along with most of the other protestors. |
U-C IMC Reporters just called in from the streets of Miami, reporting that a line of police in riot gear made a sudden charge against thousands of protestors peacefully gathering in the street.
Our reporters are not sure if there was any provocation from protestors to cause the police to advance. Police are using concussion grenades and some sort of unidentified gas.
Our reporters are retreating away from police, along with most of the other protestors. Some protestors have begun to throw things back at police as tensions escalate with the police push.
Our reporters and the thousands of protestors were located several blocks from the fence surrounding the FTAA Summit, just in front of the reporters' hotel, when the police offensive began. Up to that point things had been quiet for a couple of hours, with several thousand protestors in the streets and a line of police in riot gear standing off. |

I was on the front lines when they advanced and opend fire. I was kneeling with prayer beads in my hands.... then stood up to walk away(retreat) as they advanced and was shot in the back and head. All of the people who came to my aide we also heavely fired apon. I know have several staples in my head and am looking for help in telling the story and filing suit |
