Natan Sharansky - Cabinet Member in war criminal Ariel Sharon's government and former Minister of Housing and Construction (more accurately, Minister of Illegal Settlements and Demolition) who was invited to speak at Rutgers University by Rutgers Hillel on September 18, 2003 was pied tonight by Abe Greenhouse of Central New Jersey Jews against the Occupation.
Greenhouse who was immediately arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, was briefly held before being released.
Sharansky's "accomplishments" include ordering the construction of HUNDREDS of new units in ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS AND COLONIES throughout the West Bank, and the dispossession of ever more Palestinian land for racist, illegal Zionist colonization.
Sharansky calling for the military reoccupation of the West Bank: "Just as Hebron was the last city we gave up because of the Jewish community there, it should be the first city to be taken back." Calling for the expansion of illegal colonies (settlements) in the West Bank: "We have to build settlement contiguity between Kiryat Arba, the Cave of the Patriarchs and the settlement community in Hebron."

Don't hold back now...tell us how you really feel. But I guess that is to be expected from those of you that think violence is the only answer...blow up busses of school children, shoot people in their homes, and assault government officials invited to speak to a group. Somehow I don't see your point getting a lot of sympathy...not from Jews, not from Israeli's, and certianly not from the Lebanese, Egyptians and Syrian Governments that won't allow you to live in their countries. |
