BENEFIT CONCERT FOR VICTIMS OF GLOBALIZATION AND NEW FIGHT BACK ORGANIZATIONS |
Musical artists ;
ANNE FEENEY from Pittsburg PA, who performed at the 1999 WTO uprising and numerous other demonstrations and picket lines, who's varied musical style consists of folk, rock and Irish melodies.
Local band TOE ( Theory of Everything ) with Darin Drda and Paul Kotheimer, whose varied political / satyrical funk, folk, rock compositions have entertained and inspired many local activists over the years.
SATURDAY MAY 20TH, 4PM TO 8PM,

In the small Illinois town of Meredosia, 150 working families are struggling against a lockout by the global Celanese corporation. Paramilitary style corporate enforcers are being used to intimidate and harass the workers on the picket lines, in their neighborhoods and at area schools.
