The Pro-War Crowd is looking for a Big Turnout this Saturday
They want to try to show that only the UI campus, which is out on spring break, supports peace in our community. We know this isn't true.
Peace is still more popular than failed military strategy
Show up Saturday afternoon at 2pm on North Prospect! |
Word is being passed throughout Champaign-Urbana via phone and email:
"I was informed that several local radio stations have been promoting a pro-war rally at the corner of N. Prospect Avenue and Marketview Drive for Saturday afternoon. Sounds like a good reason to brave the weather and get out there to demonstrate the non-corporate point of view."
The For-Profit Press is pushing a war with their power over the public airwaves, trying to rally what is left of the fading public support for a war unto victory as the pResident wants, no matter how much blood it costs.
Please show up at this critical moment to demonstrate that Peace is thicker than Blood.
Prospect for Peace (P4P) has had a weekly protest at this location for more than a year. It is important that this vital popular mobilization continue stronger than ever now that peace is needed more than ever.
Show up and bring signs, musical instruments, props, etc
Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm on North Prospect!
Please watch where you park (Lowes and Tires Plus tow) and be peacful if you can't be polite. |

ML,
You are right, there were about four of you nutbags there today. Keep up the " Big Mo ". Hey, when are we meeting? I still have my honorable discharge to show you. I guess you don't want to see it do you?
Are you still angry with me?

ML,
What happened to you and all of your nutbag friends. Did you die from Weapons of Mass Destruction, or are you still in the corner crying?
Hope all is well,
Jack |
