IMC And ANSWER Banners On Neo-Nazi Site |

A follow-up on a false-front anti-war site from white supremecists; the "National Vanguard" banner is gone, but look who's there instead. |
This is far from the most pressing issue right now, but I still thought it wouldn't hurt to record it.
A couple of weeks ago I noted a false-front site, http://www.nowarforisrael.com, which had been set up by a well-known white supremecist group, the National Vanguard. The National Vanguard is part of the late Dr. William Pierce's National Alliance, which is why so much of the neo-Nazi spam on various IMCs includes a www.natvan.com or www.natall.com link.
If you check out the site, you'll see, along with every anti-Israel story they can muster, and a nice photo of Windy Wendy Campbell, a set of organizational banners. There had been one several weeks ago for the National Vanguard, but that was just a tad too obvious, and has since been removed. In its place I now see a banner for www.indymedia.org.
The website's webmaster's email address is "tim (at) resistance.com". This is the domain of Resistance Records, the white-power music label which was bought by Dr. Pierce before his death, and whose website announces that Resistance Records is "the soundtrack of white revolution."

(1) "You basically support the same things" -- for some reason, I hear Mel Blanc, as Tweety, saying "Him don't know me very well, do he!"
(2) Nazional Vanlines has redesigned their website in the last couple of days and removed most of the banners -- presumably unwillingly -- although the AlterMedia banner remains. Also gone is Windy Wendy's photo.
(3) I'm not a single issue person in real life, only on the IMCs, because this issue -- that fractious border between anti-Israeli-policy and antisemitic -- is one where I seem to be one of very few people patrolling, and I've seen too much that I found too disturbing to keep quiet.
(4) "Marvel" is the comic; "Marvell" is the metaphysical poet, just a sliver before Milton, whose best known line is "Had we but world enough and time." Thanks for asking.
