Outside of problems about affordable health care statewide, which is a kind of dear to me, I need to admit that this article is the typical illustration of the great failure of the very basic common sense approach, what I've witnessed around a lot. The only reasonable conclusion from the statewide top cap on malpractice lawsuits should be the DECREASE of malpractice insurance premium, sure, not vice versa. That is why this article approach has simply no sense whatsoever, no matter how correct or not are the statistics the author has utilized. This case is important because one should always think first what numbers could be expected to show and only then deal with these numbers. Thinking is the very precious ability, don't forget to utilize it ever. I have a strange feeling that the majority of people around like have this ability removed surgically, a kind of castration or similar. |
