AWARE takes to the streets with a 4th of July float...........Caring for our community!
Lots of community response to this years float but perhaps the irony was lost on a few! |

AWARE and friends marched with the community on July 4th. Well over 30 people joined the Billionaires for Bush. The Texas oil man, the rich folks and the General all got to ride while those seeking justice had to walk behind.
Where's the money for our community needs?
Billions for war and pennies for our community was the AWARE float theme.
Plenty of Deception dollars were distributed to the crowds.
We appreciated having WEFT Community radio 90.1 FM right behind our float. Lots of great music as we marched!
George Bush led the way with his sign that said Mission Accomplished as well as the subliminal message: I LIED!
No trophy this year....but surely a good time had by all! |
