You see them constantly hawking war on TV these days, whether they are politicians, journalists, or "experts", ready to kill thousands in other nations, while sending young, working class Americans off to fight for corporate America. Yet, they all seem to have made sure that they were never in the line of fire when they had the opportunity. Is it that a future Talking Head is too valuable to risk in battle or is it that they are more than happy to work the levers of the Killing Machine, as long as they don't risk a scratch? |
These are the Chicken Hawks and The New Hampshire Gazette is keeping track of them.

About the New Hampshire Gazette Chickenhawk Database
The following gentlemen share a number of qualities: a tendency to favor American military action, past present and future; allegiance to the Republican Party, and a paradoxical lack of military service despite there having been a war on in their youth.
No doubt this list is incomplete. Readers may nominate overlooked chickenhawks: bellicose, conservative males the right age for a live-round dust-up, yet curiously devoid of a DD-214, the paper proof of military service in a combat zone. Sorry, Dan and George, safe, cushy National Guard slots don't count.
Follow the link below to the website, which reveals the vast influence of Chicken Hawks in hypocritical conservative warmongering: |
