Yes, maybe the extreme radicalism of reality, which was build on communist ideas (left radicalism) wasn't a piece of sugar, but the suicidal reality of the current right radicalism seems to be worse. I personally believe in some purges, like, for example, to exclude from democratic party Clintons as people who brought this party to its currently failed shape. To work with voters and to show them all over again to what shape this country was brought internally and externally by the leadership of Bush. As the result to obtain back the majority of democrats in at least senate and to STOP APPROVAL OF BUSH'S OUTRAGES WAR SPENDING AND NOT LESS OUTRAGES ELIMINATION OF ALL THIS COUNTRY'S SOCIAL PROGRAMS.
The revitalizing of communist ideas doesn't seem under the circumstances top provide the immediate remedy from these problems above. It is the long term strategy, and so should it be considered. |

Sorry, I meant in my previous comment that the revitalizing of communist movements doesn't provide the immediate remedies and should not be taken as the main strategy and tactic under the current circumstances. |

Communist movement and Marxist ideas became highly unpopular in this country during Stalin's purges in 30-s because these purges were in direct controversy with respected and available in this society civil liberties. Communist ideas and movement became even much less popular in this society during McCarty's purges in 50-s. Then it was widely spreaded fear for own safety and well being, which prohibited majority's interest to these subjects.
Right now here, in Chicago, it is certainly not a good place to revitalize these ideas and these movements without any knowledge of their serious negative parts. This society is accustomed to democratic party and its reforms. It is MUCH, MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE under the circumstances to organize purge of the current Democratic party, to expel those who are responsible for its current more than pitiful shape (Clintons first of all, mainly Hillary), and then with the reconstructed leadership of this (Democratic) party to obtain back the democratic achievements of the previous century. The revitalized communist movement currently wouldn't bring anything but the further destruction of what is left from previous century democratic achievements (or any democratic achievements, at that matter), and the installment of Hillary Clinton as the president, which is the main goal of this current speedy revitalizing. |
